BRUNSWICK NEWCOMERS CLUB WINE TASTING

BNC monthly wine tastings are open to all BNC dues paying members.  They are usually held on the last Friday of the month, from September through May. Holiday occurrences may occasionally shift the schedule. 

The cost is $25 per person.  Tastings are can be held in private homes, to which you will be assigned. All you bring is your wine glass.  We also have gatherings at outdoor venues (local wine shops) where you just bring yourselves.

The purpose of the BNC wine tastings is to be able to meet and socialize with other BNC members, while learning a little about wine, in a comfortable, fun and friendly setting.  

Ten to twelve people are assigned to a host house.  The number of host houses for each tasting can vary from 2 to 6.  All of a particular month's tasting are held on the same night.  Light appetizers are served which complement the wines.  All hosts serve the same wine and food, which are purchased by the Wine Committee. This is by no means a meal, so it is suggested to eat something before attending.

Attendees will be notified, via email, by the Monday prior to the Friday tasting night, as to which house you are assigned.  Couples are assigned to the same house.  Each month hosts are needed to hold the tastings in their homes.  The cutoff date as to when you may sign up is the monthly BNC meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. 

Cancellations are non-refundable but you may specify a BNC member in your place if you need to cancel.  After host home scheduling is complete wine tasting is not refundable as wine and food have been ordered and paid for.
