BRUNSWICK NEWCOMERS
(SOUTHPORT)
Welcome to the "BNC" a non-profit social group of more than 300 residents (new and not so new) of Brunswick County, NC, serving Southeastern North Carolina including Southport, Boiling Springs, Leland, Shallotte, St. James and the surrounding area. With so many members it's not hard to find someone who likes to do the same sort of thing you do. Travel, wine tasting, exploring local restaurants and interesting sites, the BNC's mission is to provide opportunities for socialization in order for members to make friends and learn about this beautiful part of the country.
We currently have a general (membership) meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September thru May at the United Trinity Methodist Church, 209 E. Nash Street, Southport, 9:30 - 11:30AM. You will have the opportunity to join the club at these meetings, as well as sign up for our many events, we also have a guest speaker from the local area.
We do not meet in December or June-August summer months. Membership dues starting in September are $20/pp for the year. If you would like to learn more about BNC feel free to contact us at brunswick.newcomers@gmail.com and we will reach out to you to discuss our club.
ALSO, IF YOU ARE A PAST MEMBER AND WOULD LIKE TO REJOIN, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU BACK. WE DO NOT HAVE A RESTRICTION ON HOW LONG YOU CAN STAY A MEMBER.
